Jason Craig speaks with Jenna Kern, Executive Director of the Desoto County Dream Center. The organization’s heart is offering a hand up, not a handout. Kern explains that their strategy is to meet needs, build relationships, and help families dream again. She highlights services including education for children and adults, food and clothing, and health care. With more than 12,000 families facing poverty and hopelessness across Desoto County, Kern reminds listeners that hardship can happen to anyone.
