This February has certainly been an interesting one for us, but through all of the highs and lows, we have held a few great songs close to our hearts. With so many great worship songs out there, it can be difficult to narrow down a list of ten favorites, but at the end of the day, there will always be some that stand the test of time. And by that, we mean that no matter how many times we hear them, we cannot get enough of them. This is our list of the 10 worship songs on repeat this month!
1. "Gratitude" - Brandon Lake

The sentiment may be fairly straightforward, but no one can present it like Carnes. With this song’s unique energy and refreshingly relatable take on the love that Jesus has for us, we still haven’t gotten enough of this one.

Phil Wickham’s “This Is Our God” brings us back to the truth that we have seen God slay giants in our lives. Though our giants may not hold swords, His victory over them means just as much to us as David’s victory did. This song gives us a much needed reminder that we serve the God who loves us unendingly, and He will bring us through whatever fires we may have to walk through, just as He has done before.

“First Things First” brings us a message of recentering our gaze on what really matters. Consumed by Fire utilizes a memorable and moving melody to take our eyes off the things that this world may chase, and place them on the things of Heaven that Jesus has for us. As the days go by, this is a message we need more and more. When life throws us off track, and distracts us from what really matters, we listen to this song. And we need to listen to it a lot.
6. “Son Of David” - Ryan Ellis

Ryan Ellis and Brandon Lake’s rendition of “Son Of David” is a stylish, rocking plea to the root of Jesse for intercession. In truth, we are all captives to sin and death, but we have someone who is ready and able to break our chains and set us free. Lake and Ellis’ voices blend well together for the mood of this song, and the sound is infectious.

He is on another level than anyone or anything we have ever encountered before.

When we place ourselves first, when we choose to sin against God, He still loves us and wants us. Even amid all our brokenness. This song is a powerful reminder of that fact.
