Serving up a sister song to their Dove Award-winning, GRAMMY®-nominated track, “I Know A Name (feat. Brandon Lake),” Elevation Worship unveils “Jesus Be The Name.” Led by the group’s Tiffany Hudson — who co-wrote the original with Steven Furtick, Davide Mutendji and Mitch Wong — the soaring ballad starts off softly, declaring the depths of God’s love to be sweet and endless. With the purity of Hudson’s vocal on full display, the selection eventually crescendos into a swelling bridge that extols various names of God: the Resurrection and the Life, the Bread of Life, the Wounded and Worthy One, Lord and King.

The poetic lyrics were inspired by Philippians 2:9: “Therefore, God elevated Him to the place of highest honor and gave Him the name above all other names.”

Recorded live at Elevation Church in September, “Jesus Be The Name” resonated so powerfully with their home congregation, the group decided to release it to a broader audience, whom they hope will find peace, rescue and revelation through calling on the name of Jesus in song.

“‘Jesus Be The Name’ has become an anthem and a heart-cry for our church, a declaration that Jesus gets all the glory. His is the name above every name, full of power and authority, growing sweeter every time we call on it,” Hudson shares. “Our prayer is that this song leads listeners into a real, life-changing encounter with the name of Jesus.”

Following a landmark year that saw Elevation Worship fan the flame of 2024’s “When Wind Meets Fire,” the collective recently announced fresh dates for 2026. Their massive “Elevation Nights” tour will visit select cities in February and March of next year with upcoming stops slated for Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Illinois, among others.
