Former Elevation Worship member Mack Brock affirms God’s consistent faithfulness on his new single, “Time and Time Again.” Brock traces the Father’s steadfast hand throughout his own trajectory across the anthemic selection. In turn, the universal cut will immediately conjure core memories for listeners every time they hear the song now playing on Air1.
The prolific lyricist behind early Elevation Worship standouts like “O Come To The Altar,” “Do It Again” and “Resurrecting” wrote “Time and Time Again” with Hank Bentley and Josh Baldwin, who recorded his own version of the track for his latest project, “Made For More (Live).” “Time and Time Again” is set to appear on Brock’s forthcoming studio offering, due later this year.
Easy to sing and hard to forget, the passionate single challenges others to examine their own history with Jesus and all the moments in the past when He’s shown up.
“Building our faith is a continuous journey, and one of the best tools we have is to look back at God’s past faithfulness — in the Scriptures, in our own lives,” Brock remarks. “It’s a gift to remember God’s faithfulness — to have countless stories to tell of His goodness in my life. Our God is forever faithful, and that’s one of my absolute favorite things to sing about.”
In addition to spending a decade with Elevation Worship, Brock has written songs recorded by Phil Wickham, Jesus Culture, Passion, Pat Barrett and Bryan & Katie Torwalt, among other artists. He and his wife, Meredith, reside in Charlotte, N.C., with their three children.
“Time and Time Again” opens his next chapter as a solo act following 2018’s “Greater Things,” which earned him a radio hit with the title-cut; 2019’s “Covered” EP and 2020’s “SPACE.”
